I'm sure that Emerald can do whatever set-up you need, especially if you are visiting in person to discuss it, after trying what is on hand.

Thank you, Earl49!

We are always more than happy to set instruments up to a customer's preference before shipping. It was such a pleasure for Alistair to meet Deb when she passed through Ballyshannon and we look forward to her receiving her new X20 Select Series 3/17.

Kind Regards,

Sean

Unrelated question.

Wasn't there a banjo maker in Ireland went by the name of Emerald? I recall they used to inlay an actual gemstone in the headstock.

Hi HHP,

http://www.emeraldbanjos.com/ are based in County Clare, Ireland and they sure do make beautiful instruments. While we know of them and admire their work, we are in no way connected or affiliated.

Best Wishes,

Sean

Thanks, worried I was seeing imaginary banjo makers again.

My wife is from Roscommon, so I've been over there at least a dozen times and the driving is pretty easy to get used to. Honestly, I've had bigger problems coming back to the States and going back to driving on the right side than I ever did going there and driving on the left.

+1 I had the same issue coming back to the US from a trip to Australia. And roundabouts seem to make more sense over there as well.

I just received this fantastic artisan from Ireland today! Thank you Alistair and Sean! It sounds so great - even better than remembered - and plays so very easily. I love the neck and the set up is perfect!
And thanks for the "goodies" included in the case - like the USB card with all the pics of this guitar!
Thank you Thank you! It's a memory I'll always cherish! [IMG][/IMG]

Congrats again! I'm guessing the sound and playing is even better with that beautiful guitar at home. And what great memories each time you pick it up!

That's a real nice X20 you have there. Thanks for the at-home pics.
