Default Leo Buendia build for TAMCO UK

I am looking forward to this one. Modified Dreadnought in Swiss spruce and fiddleback mahogany.

Agree that the rosette is awesome. I think I need to visit Leo to see it in person!

This is a beautiful rosette. Is that dyed wood?

Smile Wow

Like others, I absolutely love that rosette and think it is one of the prettiest I have ever seen. Same question, is that dyed wood? If so, what type of wood?

I can't wait to see the rest of the guitar.

The rosette is dyed maple burl. When Leo and I were working out specs on my Buendia's rosette, he sent me these photos of the various colors of dyed maple he had on hand:

Thanks for all your nice comment about my work. I really appreciate it! As Jim pointed out the wood accents are dyed Maple burl. Thanks for the pics Jim!
I really like to use them for custom inlays. I'll be sending more photos soon.
