I met Dion and his significant other at La Conner yesterday, and got to see his complete grouping of instruments. Wow! They are very nice! I love to see a fellow Canadian making extraordinary instruments like these.
Later in the day, I got to hear every guitar of his in a mini-concert, played by Tim Farrell. He is a superb musician, so it was a chance to hear the guitars get a real workout. They didn't disappoint. For me, the Wenge was my favourite, but I would happily have the other guitars any day of the week!
