Default Maton AP5 pro led light

Hi everyone,
On my Maton 70th Anniversary Dread the LED Light on the pickup goes
out after plugging into an AMP, it initially lights up then goes out, the guitar still plays. I swear on my last Maton the LED stayed on whilst hooked up to the AMP, is there something wrong?????
Cheers
Mic

Nope that's what it does. Mine is the same. Lights for about 3 seconds to show connection and power. Not sure if I read that or watched a youtube.

+1, that's the way my AP5 Pro works. LED lights up for a second or two only when you plug in. Could be with the older AP MIc or AP5 systems that the light stays on all the time?
