The one at the top of the page, with it, looks fantastic, so I'm sure the one with shellac look awesome! Hope to be able to see it later.

EDIT: After submitting my reply, the screen refreshed, and there was this awesome-looking guitar. And I was right, it does look awesome! Love the figuring on the back, and how it just pops under the finish.
Hey Mike ... thanks!!!

Hey Leo ... I'll give it a shot. My main computer just fried, so I'll try it from this little Mac.

Well ... the finish has been curing for a few weeks now (I didn't get around to starting this thread until WELL into the build/finish process). Time to start the final stages!

Attaching the neck to the body

Planing the fingerboard

Sinking the fingerboard inlay

Engraving the inlay

I have to say David your build threads (and the one currently by Mark Hatcher) for Tamco are my favourite builds. Beautiful looking guitar. Who knows, I may even get to try it when it arrives at Tamco- your last one got sold in the week it arrived before I had chance to get my hands on it.

Best wishes,

RobbieJ

There's some interest in this one already, it least one person planning to visit on the day of arrival, so it may not be here a week.

Here's some more progress photos ... tomorrow I'll have a few shots of the finished guitar!

Seating the frets

Fret dress and recrown

Bridge fabrication

Final frequency analysis and Chladni pattern testing

Well ... here's our first look at the finished guitar ... more photos to come in the next few days. I'm loving the sound right out of the gate!
