wow Steve, I had missed this thread until now and that's quite a set of guitars you are taking to the show. I'm especially smitten with that Zephyr.

What's really cool is that you have such a distinctive design aesthetic, there is no mistaking an Edwinson guitar. And you know that I mean that in the very best way :-)

I wish you the best of luck at the show!

...so I was messing around with Manufacturing on Demand via Shapeways and I made a custom silver ring from the back inlay of Edwinson's "Blackthorn"

Nice JR! And if desperate, looks like you could use it as a hole saw!!

Not really a wood-guitar friendly design, is it???

But it sure looks cool...

Haha! It's actually not as sharp as it looks.

Hey, J.R.! Thanks for this blast from the past! It's always surprising how things look from the perspective of several years of time gone by. I hope the Blackthorne Consort is still being cooperative and friendly with you!
That ring is quite a piece of work. Something tells me it would be good to have if you ever got marooned on a deserted island. Might make a good survival tool.
That said, please don't get marooned anywhere. We need you around to keep us updated on that new Hatcher guitar, and the Big Hollow that Bevan's working on. I'll be following those two threads with keen interest.
And please give my fondest regards to Holly!
-S.

This is the guitar that made me pick up the phone and call Steve!
