Default Sexauer FT-00-JB-WRX: "The Little Wonder"

Really need to get down to 3-4 flat tops and have decided to sell my Sexauer FT-00-JB-WRX......follow the link below to pics and a description....

In overall NM condition - not perfect and has some light honest play wear, but nothing major to note that would turn you off......

Magical sound - and my first fan fret guitar which I have thoroughly enjoyed...would definitely get another....

Most likely one of the lowest price Sexauers you can find and Bruce has always commented on how well this guitar turned out....

No trades - comes with hard shell case - $4,750 via PayPal which includes shipping in the Continental US.....

What kind of hardshell case does it have (maybe you could at a picture or two)? And where are you/the guitar located? And...the post you have linked states the nut is "almost 1 13/16"...can you give us your own measurement/perspective on this feature?

Looks like a special instrument.

The nut is a solid 1-13/16th inches and I find it very comfortable to play....the fan fret style on this guitar is subtle and it took me literally five minutes to get used to and be comfortable with...really makes some difficult stretches down in the cowboy chord section a lot easier.....everyone of my flattops ( even the Hohner! ) are special guitars....I hate selling any of them but I really want to get down to 3, maybe 4 outside of my Cargo, National and Hohner....the Hohner was my first "real" guitar and I can never sell her....plus, it's the guitar my father in law digs into when he visits and was the highest end guitar Hohner made back in the late 70s.....I didn't even know what I was buying at the time and it blows many D-28s away that I have compared her to....tough choices on what to sell....right now the sexauer, 0-18 ( on Reverb ) and 0-18K ( AGF ) are on the blocks....I have played 4-5 Sexauers over the years and this one does not disappoint.....I actually bought this from Rob Calcutta who many of you know, and his taste is impeccable.....

Ping me with any other questions.....she looks as good as the pics in the link above - the guitar went from Bruce, to Rob and to me....and Rob is pretty darn anal about taking care of his guitars like I am....

I'm surprised this is still up, but also kinda hopeful that it sticks around a little longer, and someone buys my Goodall.

Do you have a sound clip for it? I have small hands (palms) is the neck fat or just a c shape one? I had my hands on a 1.75 " neck never tried a 1 13/16 ". Can you put it into DADGAD tuning?

Thanks
doc

I am sorry that I am late to chime in on this thread. I bought this guitar directly from Bruce Sexauer and later sold it to Jim.

This guitar was actually built to specs for a guy that was suffering from arthritis in his hands and wanted something easy to play. That goal was accomplished and (to no surprise) another amazing Sexauer guitar was created. This guitar is extremely easy to play and lacks nothing in the tone or volume department.

It truly is a wonder.

Also, Jim is as good a guy as you will find. Do not hesitate to grab this very unique guitar while you can, and at a tremendous price.
