Default Åstrand Å-OM

After seeing Scottish0177 build thread I thought I'd post a few pictures. After owning this guitar a year and a half, I'm still loving my Åstrand. European Moon Spruce (some bearclaw), and Madagascar back/sides. It is so powerful, and so balanced. Rosette is Spalted Maple, and Brazilian, and the headstock overlay is Spalted Maple as well.

Thank you. I guess I was comparing it to the ones I have seen that are completely covered. Its weird looking at them up close. They almost have a 3D effect to them, and hard to capture in a picture too.

Chad...I have been drooling over this for some time and enjoy the sneaky peeks of it on instagram whilst waiting for my own Astrand...I really like it and the burl used on the headstock and rosette was certainly a basis for my own thinking of how I wanted mine too look.

Love it

Scott

Thanks! She sure is sounding sweet tonight! Its just amazing how these boutique guitars sound compared to my Martin and Collings. I love them both, but this Astrand is unbelievable.

Ted's guitars are so incredibly responsive and tonally pristine. He's a remarkable luthier.
