Default NKD-(kayak content)

Wife bought a new toy today. https://eddyline.com/kayak-model/sky....S3Bh6rXc.dpbs

She'd wanted one for a long time. While this isn't the boat I thought she'd go for, it is the direction I hoped she'd take. And made in USA....
We hope to take it out for it's maiden voyage early next week.

Exciting! That green one's a beaut!

I'm planning on purchasing a kayak in the very near future. We have several lovely lakes in our area and I'd like to try it before I get beyond paddling!

I'm still mulling over whether to get a sit-on-top or ride-inside type.

Have fun!

Since I already have a drift boat, I'm on the fence wanting one. I did look several nice sit on tops today. I'm on the lakes fishing, which they're perfect for.

Nice boat, JCave!

BTF, I'm no expert, but I have spent some time paddling when I've been between boats. A sit on top is ok for a smaller lake with no waves on a nice warm day. For other conditions or any place where the wind can kick up you will want to be inside the boat.

Kayaks are great!

How's the back support? Without a spray skirt I would prefer a higher back rest.

Looks like nice yak. I just went through a search for my own fishing kayak. Nothing like paddling around so close to the water. Hopefully, it brings her great joy as well

Nice kayak. Color? I typically go for a more practical hi-viz color to maximize distant visual recognition. The yellow one would be my choice. My wife couldn't be moved off her aesthetic stump, though. Her choice was the pretty blue one so blue we bought (Hobie). My 'yak is a combo bright yellow and red scheme.

Nice!

My gal has an older Eddyline model, and likes it.

My wife and I picked these about 10 years ago . Haven't used them much lately, but would love to get back into it. These are the "Wisper" model from a company called Feathercraft. The kayaks disassemble and fit into a large duffle bag about 4 feet high and 2 feet around. The kayaks when assembled is about 15 feet long as is ocean ready.

Great quality.

Cheers...

I love kayaking. I used to be an avid hiker, but knee and ankles have slowed me down. I still hike but kayaking is now my go to sport.

Ps. Nice boat

Kayaks and icebergs do not mix...
