Here Comes the Sun / Chords - Tab
Here Comes The Sun
To all - Can someone direct me to an accurate version of the chords for this song? Most versions show it being capo'd at the seventh fret.... some do not. If you have a "tried & true" version I would appreciate knowing where to find it. This is on my "must learn this year" list of songs.... Thanks in advance ~

I don't know how faithful this version is to the original, but I learned it off of here:
Pt 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2u3CiYJZI Pt 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0MDA...eature=related He plays it at the 7th fret, but I lowered it to the 4th for my own vocal range. Good luck! geokie8

The best free transcription that I found was from jawmunji.com
http://jaw.iinet.net.au/jawmunji/tab...0the%20Sun.pdf This is a fingerstyle transcription and you asked for chords, so maybe it's not what you are looking for, but I bet someone will like it. There are a number of other songs tabbed out on there too on this page: http://www.jawmunji.com/

I have a pdf and the original Pawer Tab file that I learned this song from. If you'd like, "PM" me with your e-mail address and I'll send your way. You can also find the Power Tab* file at:
http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/b/be..._power_tab.htm Then print to Adobe Acrobat to create a file for printing, archiving, sharing, etc. *You'll have to download the free version of Power Tab to view and play the file. Oh, as long as you're capo-ed at 7, Try The Who's little ditty "Blue, Red, and Grey." Nice happy tune with a distinctive "uke" sound to it. You can find that one at ultimate-guitar also. Doesn't mean any tab that shows it at 7th fret is going to be accurate otherwise, but I'd start from those that do. Use your ear to assess how accurate they are. |

Great song to learn. I play it a lot. I wish I could help you out but I learned it loooong before there were tabs available. Good luck.

Yes - I used to learn most of the songs I know by simply watching / playing with others. But those days are long gone now....

I learned a bit differently. Vinyl: Pick the needle up, put it back, pick the needle up, put it back... until I got it.

Oh do I ever remember those days. Rather than the records now days, I check out Youtube and stop, slide back a few seconds and go at it again

I gave up learning covers. These days I just keep it real casual and goof around on the F/B looking for something that sounds cool.
