Default Anybody know where I can have personalized guitar picks made?

Howdy,

My Mom just recently picked up a guitar and I thought a good gift would be some customized guitar picks. You know, something with her name on it, and maybe a small graphic.

Anyone know of an online retailer that'll do this kind of thing?

Thanks in advance!

Well, I did some more research on the net and found quite a few places that do it. Some more expensive than others, and some with better quality than others.

I've settled on http://www.legendpicks.com for a few reasons.

1) Low minimum order of 144 picks. Which may seem like a lot, but the cost was only $40
2) They print graphics in great detail, and, you can send them your own art work.
3) Good references listed on the site.
4) Was impressed with their portfolio.

The only complaint I have involves their web page and ordering format. The web page looks pretty bad, and the order process was confusing (either US mail, or Paypal). Though, they did respond quickly to my questions via email.

Overall I don't think you can beat the price for the quality. A lot of the places I checked out that offered good quality required high minimum orders, and the cost was much higher. The sites that did offer low cost wouldn't print graphics and the like; just "your text here" printed in a boring font.

I hope this helps someone, and if anyone knows of another source that I missed please pass it on.

Well, If they're 'personalized' for his mom, he'll have to cut up HER credit cards

Try looking in the back of any guitar magazine for a company called D&D... They will make you 100 picks in your choice of materials, colors and stiffness for about $25.00.

I checked them out on the web...

http://www.ddmanuf.com/

It's still $40 ($40 for the first order), but they have a better selection of colors.

Thanks for the tip!
