Boss JamStation or Boomerang

At the recent North Carolina get-together, the main act, Michael
Queen, used both a Boss "JamStation", and a Boomerang Phrase Sampler. Both units were really nice, and he demo'd them both for the group.

My question: do any of you currently use one (or both) of these items, and what are the positives and negatives?
