Talking Taylor 510 (a good deal or not)

Hi, I was in a local store yesterday kinda looking for an acoustic to play with at Church. I found a used Taylor 510 for the same amount of dollars. Comes with HS case. I'm not a Taylor guy, so is this a good deal?

Thanks

In short, YES.

If it is in good condition, a used 510 is worth around $1200-$1400.

If that guitar isn't beat up, that's a great deal!

For some reason I don't see the price listed in the post. What price are they asking?

Any idea what year it is? Old "D" style or new rendition? Probably a great price either way if action and tone is good.

Ah, now I understand. I thought maybe the post had been edited before I read it but I get it now. Wow, $510 for a Taylor 510 is indeed a good deal if it's in decent shape at all.

$510 would be a fantastic price for a 510 in good shape.

Wouldn't it be great if ALL used Taylors sold for the price of their model numbers. I imagine most of us could come up with $914 or $855.

Update: I went back yesterday to have another look at the 510 and the price is actually close to 1K. I looked at so many guitars I guess I got confused. It is still a beautiful guitar and in great shape.

Ahh - that's probably much closer to the actual value, provided it's in good shape.
