Thanks M-thirty,
The Cordoba web site does offer the cedar and spruce options on the C9 and C10, I may be missing something, but I don't see that the web site offers the spruce option on the parlor versions.

I don't know about the parlor models, just the C9 and C10 classical guitars.

The C9 (and up) is a significant step up from the C7.

I love cedar over mahogany, but for a go to classical I decided to go for the more traditional cedar over rosewood. I have a few guitars in both combos, both nylon and steel strings, and a have a vintage Adirondack spruce over 'hog short scale classical.
I am really pleased with the C10 Parlor with cedar and rosewood. Happy with the sound, the string spacing and body size, and neck profile too. I think the top is finally showing that it's gong to darken nicely and show some stronger vertical grain differentiation color-wise, which is my preference. |

I got back into guitar playing about a year ago.
Before reading this Forum, I had no idea, that steelstring acoustic guitars even exist. anyway, after listening to some nylon guitar videos the other day, it struck me, that my preferered tone is from nylon strings and not steel ones. having bought the Cordoba C10 crossover spruce/Eir now, I am quite pleased with it. I do not touch the steelstring guitars any longer, no matter of how much I loved them just a couple of days ago. GAS is over, and it had struck me hard, BSG OM, Eastman 00, Lowden F50, all gone. The two Santa Cruz will leave as well. tried the 1929-00 yesterday evening, after some days with the nylon strings, it sounded like a brass bell.

Purchased a C-10 cedar last summer (2016) from Reverb. It was (and still is) in mint condition and I have been very pleased. The bass is loud and that is one of the reasons I bought it. Very good guitar for the $.

I'll just pile on a bit. I agree you get a lot of bang for the buck with Cordobas, particularly the Luthier 10s. I had a Crossover I really liked and I currently have an F10 that blows me away!
