So no need for a separate forum, and a very cool evolution for guitar construction.

"Impregnated"?? Can we talk about that kind of stuff on this forum? When a Mommy guitar and a Daddy guitar really love each other, there is a "special hug" they... nevermind.

I REALLY like the old band/concert t-shirt idea. Plenty of impregnating back in those days... but, I am digressing. Again.

Yeah, I know: back in my corner.

Just in case there was any confusion, I was using definition #2.

Quote:
im·preg·nate
imˈpreɡˌnāt/
verb
1.
make (a woman or female animal) pregnant.
synonyms: make/get pregnant, inseminate, fertilize; More
2.
soak or saturate (something) with a substance.
"wood that had been impregnated with preservative"
synonyms: infuse, soak, steep, saturate, drench; More

Gee, in view of these new definitions.....just what do they mean when they say "pre-preg" during the construction? Is that even legal?

I notice that there is some overlap in the two definitions.

Mama, don't let your babies grow up to be Taylors....

Note: I chose "Taylor" because I have a 1925 Martin 2K ukulele. If it ever grows up, it would still be a Martin.
