I like how they've maintained the bleak sensibility of the original movie. Bates Motel does the same thing with creepy.

To read peoples opinions, loving it, hating it .. but why reveal the story and spoil it for others?
No-one reveals the plot of the book they're reading in any of the 'What Are You Reading?' threads.

Sorry, but you really should know better. I watched it Friday night, so avoided reading anything but the opening post on this thread until later I had watched it.

I knew the a/c thing was about to happen as soon as she started monkeying with it. Although she didn't need to count off, obviously. I didn't quite understand the bridge tournament thing, though - they have some plan to get wealthy that way?

Shaping up to be as excellent as the first two seasons. One of the only current shows I watch, along with Better Call Saul and GoT.

I watched all of Bates Motel too, but haven't seen this last season.

Black Sails is fun too.

Really, the best TV I've seen in years was Season One of True Detective. Daaang.

Was that bridge? They called it Wildcat, never heard of it.

Thanks, I'll put that on my reading list, right after I finish 'Titanic II'.

I missed the 'wildcat' name. But it was 4 players, all cards dealt, and a 'dummy'. A quick google showed it was the 'Wildcat Regionals' for a bridge tournament.

Just watched the current episode and really like what they are doing. New info on the mistaken victim a bit bizarre.

Got to say I am really impressed with David Thewlis. You think he's a goofball but he may be a mastermind. So far, he might have the best role in the show.

Also, i think they made their first reference tonight to previous Fargos when someone mentioned " Stan Grossman" from the movie.

Give then credit for maintaining quality over 3 seasons now.

Just finished watching episode 3. Series really seems to be hitting it's stride. Took me a while to realize the animation sequences were Gloria's dreams, influenced by real events along with the science fiction she's been reading. I also finally figured out the Ewan McGregor plays both Stussy brothers. Quite a tour de force.
