Default African Monkey? Camel Thorn Craviola ?

I have never seen one of these before. Interestingly beautiful. http://elderly.com/vintage/items/28U-2391.htm
Anyone ever heard of African Monkey Thorn and African Camel Thorn wood?

That guitar is so cool, I had to do some research:

Looks like monkey thorn is an acacia-- looks like it's used for a lot of things maple might be used for.
