Default Help identifying 7 string classical guitar

So I came across an interesting guitar at the local shop the other day.

It was a smaller bodied 7 stringed classical guitar. It had a pickup. I presume that at least some of it was made up of laminate as the cost was quite low.

Anyways, I was intrigued by this guitar as it seemed like there was a lot of tonal possibilities there from my short time playing it... I'm a big Egberto Gismonti fan and he plays a 7 or 8 string guitar also.

Does anybody know anything about this guitar? I can't remember the brand name, although I think that it was Italian or Spanish sounding. I wouldn't think there are two many 7 string classical guitars with pickups out there, but who knows...

Default guitar 7 strings

hello!
here in Brazil is widely used in the guitar strings 7 "choro and samba"
Its construction is almost equal to the six guitar strings, with some modifications in the internal structure.
I am currently building July 1 strings that I'll post pictures soon.

Can't help the OP with his 7 string classical question, but a small hijack of the thread for a moment.

Luiz, I don't know where you are located in MG, but next time I get down there to Belo Horezonte of Senador I'll shoot you a message and see how close we are.

Probably won't make it in 2011, but '12 for sure.

More than likely it's a Giannini, Brazilian-made. Certainly worth the money, in general, but not a "fine" guitar. I have one, and it's serviceable; good for practicing and small restaurant gigs. I am on the lookout for a better quality 7-string nylon.

There is a chance this is Russian guitar. These were very popular in the past, but ones with pickup are rare.
