Update: I tried the XLR connection, and it didn't help with the hum. I also tried plugging in the A3 to the same outlet as the PA, still no joy.
However, going through a mixer, the hum is gone. Strangeness. As i said, the hum is only present with my Taylor with the ES2, and when the AMP is running off AC. On battery it's fine -- so I'm not going to waste anymore energy worrying about it. It is what it is. Thanks everyone for your input! |

that is exactly what we noticed with my buddies Tak. in some mixers, same guitar is quiet as a mouse, in the one we used normally, it was there. |
