I also have no loyalty when it comes to builders. I own instruments built by at least six different companies. If you use numbers to determine where I lean though, Gibson comes in first as there are four in the house.

Bourgeois Guitars.

I've always wanted to tell someone that their acoustic guitar is "So Bourgeois."

I am a strange and simple man.

My favourite is my Bernabe classical guitar. It has the best tone, balanced and is the easiest to play of all the classical guitars I have tried. And it can play loud as well, a true concert guitar. It will most likely be my last classical guitar. Now if a nice Flamenco guitar came my way ...

Default What is your favorite acoustic guitar maker name?

Pono Parlor - reminds me of when I worked in midtown Manhattan 40 years ago...

Default LOWDEN HANDS DOWN

While I realize this is certainly subjective I would say in my thirty years of guitar buying, George Lowden. His current operation takes boutique guitar making to a new level. I have regularly noted here that many members can't conceive paying $8000.00 for a guitar. With all due respect, you've never played a Lowden.

Even if you've never even owned one- your favorite name of an acoustic guitar maker?
Mine is Froggy Bottom. They just have to be good.
I'm loyal to Furch, for me they hold the comparaison with very high end guitars ( Collings, Santa Cruz, Lowden etc...), though I have never played a Froggy Bottom, but I couldn't afford one anyway, and I'm not sure the 7000 extra dollars would make such a huge sonic difference

I've owned a couple Martins i really loved & played a Gibson I wished I could've afforded. Im partial to Guild in part because they have (to my ear) a little different sound & necks that agree with my hand
Between my wife & myself there also are a couple Breedloves lurking in the house a Yamaha (her 1st guitar) & she's working towards a Taylor she really wants.
im going to need another Guild to maintain the balance of power

I don't have a favorite guitar brand or a favorite car brand. I've tried and owned many models of each of them, over the years, and pretty much like every one I end up buying. I guess I can say, "I'm happy with what I've had and with what I got".

I'm a man of simple means... I simply love Martin guitars.

They have SO many great and interesting models this year too!

My 2015 D-18 in the beautiful Ambertone suits me perfectly... but a 00 is drawing me near... and the new 2017 D-28! OH!!

Maybe I read it wrong but I thought the OP's question was, 'What is your favorite acoustic guitar maker name?' e.g. Froggy Bottom .... as in 'Froggy Bottom' is a quirky , unforgettable name.
Not 'What is the name of your favorite acoustic guitar maker?'
