Do you glue the nut to neck,or let it loose ?

One drop of glue in the center just to hold it is all you need

Yep, just a drop of white glue to hold it in place and not to be too hard to remove in case i need to.

Doesn't really matter if it is to the f.board or to the neck. I just worked on a Martin that had the nut 100% glued from the factory. It still came out easily.

Nuts that fit into their slots tightly can be left unglued.
