New BLEM Gold Tone Paul Beard series PBS-M Deluxe squareneck resonator acoustic guitar. This is all solid mahogany which is why it a deluxe model.

A BLEM is a new instrument with some sort of manufacturing blemish, in this case purely cosmetic, and the instrument has been factory set up, inspected and warrantied by Gold Tone. I will detail the blems further into the listing and they are pictured as well.

Designed by legendary maker Paul Beard, this signature model guitar is hand made and provides unmatched tone in its price range. The Beard "open" soundwell body design utilizes genuine USA Beard cones & spiders. All Gold Tone Beard Signature Series feature USA assembly and setup by experienced luthiers using Beard cones & spiders. You can be assured of a perfect setup for maximum tone & playability.

The guitar is made of all solid mahogany which gives it a very warm and crisp tone. The fingerboard is ebony with snowflake inlay which is absolutely gorgeous. The curly maple binding really completes the beauty of this guitar with white binding going all the way up the sides of the neck and around the top of the headstock. This is a truly magnificent guitar.

BLEM DESCRIPTION:

The blems can be seen in pics 9-12 (link below). There is a nick on the neck heel in pic 9. Pic 10 shows an area at the neck joint where the finish did not settle correctly and has left a line which looks like an ink splotch. That splotch is on the right side of the neck heel if you are looking from the side of the guitar as the picture is set up.

Pics 11 and 12 show a nick that is next to the nut that goes into the wood a little bit. The nut is secure but the nick is still there. The guitar has absolutely no functional issues but during construction these blemishes occurred and this cannot be sold as a non blemished A stock instrument. Remember this is warrantied for 5 years by Gold Tone so you are buying a new instrument that just has a few cosmetic flaws.

This has a list price of $1,659 and will typically sell brand new for $1,200. However, you can buy this here as a brand new BLEM for $799.99!!
