Don't forget. I am a big 3 year old. I was in my element.
Nah - you're running with the Big Dogs and I can't hang. All I can do is play 'em.

Yours and TKF's guitars are beauties! How long did custom orders take?

Mine was new in the shop, I had seen it a few times before it followed me home.

I have a review of OO Country Boy and Custom OO with rosewood back and sides coming up in the UK's Acoustic Magazine. Dana made me a Country Boy with quilted sapele which I have at home, fantastic, will bring in and photograph tomorrow if folks are interested.

Photos of custom OO.

Please do post the photo's. I'd love to see the various versions of this great body size.
I too promise a photo shoot. I have snapped my shutter way too many times this past two weeks. Just not in the mood to do pictures on my first day off in a bit

Looks to be mahogany? Martin made an 00-18DB (deep body) fro two years as part of their "Women in music" series, sitka/hog, I played one that wlooked like a cat played with it but the sound was fantastic, still should have bought it.

That Bourgeois should be a beast, amazing how 00's don't lose much or any volume at all, and the body size sure is comfortable.........enjoy!
I have a Martin 00C-16DBRE and a Bourgeois JRA as my main axes. I love them both. Last year I played a gig with the JRA and I guy came up to me after the show and told me, "That's the best sounding Martin I've ever heard, but I don't recognize it. What is it?" I didn't have the heart to tell him it didn't have a dovetail neck joint. In fact, neither does my Martin.

Dana does make fantastic guitars (as does Martin) and I think cheating with a 00-sized one would be a nice way to cheat!

YamahaJunkie congrats on the beautiful axe. Jealousy here.

I'll say! Almost looks like koa... gorgeous stuff.
All of the pics of the Bourgeois guitars on this thread look great to me

John, congrats on getting yours! Now you're in the club - the "my playing barely deserve this guitar, but I got it anyways" club... at least, that's how I think of it
