Larrivee D 40 , Martin 00 28...or other
For a series of reasons I am going to make a move to a 00 size guitar. My main guitars for years were a Larrivee D60 from 1993 and and Abraham Wechter Florentine Nylon from 2000. I play with my fingers and tend to pick out my solos with my thumb. Don't know why but I just evolved that way. What can you tell me about these two guitars. How even does each one sound, does the bass or the treqble over power, is the next flat or round. You know the usual questions people ask. Been a long time hope you guys can help. Influenced from Garcia to Grant Green to Gilmour

I have a 00-60 12 fret that is the greatest guitar I’ve ever owned.
The D40 is a dread if I’m not mistaken, so that and the 28 are going to be a bit different. You owe it to yourself to play a good 12 fret, especially if you’re a fingerpicker. |

If your considering a Martin, and same may be true for Larivee, play the triple 000 before making your final decision. When I bought my 000-18 there was also a 00-18. It was a no-brainer although a bit more on the wallet. Good luck!
