I had to stop watching partway through the video, my mind could not take it. Once what I saw settles in I'll come back to watch some more.

The Video clip was most helpful.

Using a three string pattern and using some combination of down and up strokes. The three strings vary as needed.

Seems like most of the really good ones started playing in either a Family bluegrass band (Molly...with “The Tuttles”) or just had bluegrass music around them since they were tiny kids. They basically played all day long all the time.

And here I am at 59 trying to learn this with a full time job and a family! Sheesh!! [emoji15][emoji38]
