Martin - lack of genuine strap lock
Hello Everybody !
I've just received new Martin DX1 ordered in the eshop. Everything looks OK with one exception. There Is lack of one strap lock, you can see it on the picture. I'm going to complaint however if failed how would it be fixed ? I'm not sure this hole Is original |

The button was not installed on my new Martin, but I found it inside the case. Maybe with the warranty card and such?

I don't see the gripe. Martin is of the "traditional" school and builds them as such. I'm not sure if their X series offerings feature laminated spruce tail blocks but I can tell you that an installed end pin in a solid mahogany tail block and shipped in its case is a recipe for a key crack that could potentially split the guitar in half.
My thinking is this: is such a feature a deal breaker if you can easily install it yourself with a $6 reamer?

My button popped right in, no modification necessary. MMV model.
