Dislodged mic
In my Breedlove Focus Bossa Nova guitar, the microphone has come away from the body, inside. It is an Anthem system by L.R. Baggs, and their shop is about 2 blocks away from my office, yet the guys in there only build the systems, don't install them.
What adhesive should I use, and where exactly do I mount the loose microphone? Any help is appreciated, I have minimal confidence repairing nicer guitars. |

First, take a slow deep breath in and hold it -- now breathe out. Feel better?
This is an easy job, young grasshopper. 3M double face foam tape/squares will work to reattach the mic to the center underside of the bridge plate. Be sure to remove any remaining old adhesive from both surfaces first. Refer to the Baggs Anthem installation instructions here. Good luck!

Thank you Fire&Rain, I'm breathing, in........out............. Now I feel better, I'll proceed to the double face foam squares retailer, and then proceed. Thank you for taking the time to share this information. Dr. Steve |

My pleasure! It is always nice to see a "patient" responding well to treatment...
