Default If I didn't already own a G&L Legacy, this would make me buy one

Nice tones dude!

Totally agreed blue, great tones plus great comfort, build quality, playability...does it sound like I may be biased? As a long time acoustic player I wandered into the world of electrics about 5 years ago. In order to decide what I really liked I had to buy/sell/swap (GAS) until I found the one. Les Pauls, SG's, Teles, Strats, a 335, guitars from all the makers and guess what I landed on? When this one arrived my shopping was over.

I agree, and I'm a little biased as well. I use a G&L S-500 pretty regularly in the studio and it sounds and plays great.

Red guitar day at the studio, 03/24/2010.

Yes Kev, and the G is for George Fullerton. Leo designed the electric components and George built the guitars for years up until the sale of the company. They formed G&L and focused on improving their best designs. If you visit the website there is an interesting page on their history.

Since Leo's death the company has expanded to include a lower price point, imported line...the Tribute series. I had a Tribute that impressed me enough to buy the US Legacy in my pics. I'm happy every day with that decision.
