Talking My 2 Builds ft. 24k Gold =)

I've been pretty much an acoustic guy for last several years. I'm working on 2 parts strats right now, one will be a slightly blinged out and the other will be based off a 59', I'm not sure whether I will be doing a maple or rosewood fretboard. I'm using CTS pots with cloth wire, USA switch, Klein Jazzy Cat pickups in the gold guitar and Fender Fat 50's in the red guitar. The gold body was made by Mattia Franchin in Italy using 24k gold foil then hand painted by a local painter, finished in poly. I have a custom birdseye maple neck made by a local luthier, ebony fretboard, and abalone dot inlays. The red body is also from the same maker, finished in candy apple red and relic'd by the maker. The body contours are slightly different than Fenders, it is a tad thicker towards the tail and body contour on the back is a bit shaper feeling than a Fender. Enjoy!

Very Cool! Love this custom stuff....I'm currently having a custom amp built (see my thread in the electric section) so can appreciate the nature of projects.

Cheers...

A couple of cool looking relic'd strats! Add in those designs you'll be turning heads.
