My Alvarez AC65HCE arrived today. It sounds fantastic I am very happy with it. For those not that familiar with it, it has a cedar top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, and saddle, it also came with an LRBaggs stage pro element pickup. Acoustically it's very loud and has good bass, but also pretty good clarity as well. I have played some classical on it and it sounded great, also I played regular finger style with it and it sounded fantastic. If you see one in a store try one out. Here are some pics.

It looks like a pretty guitar. If you don't mind, how does it sound plugged in?

It sounds great. I have fishman loudbox mini. The pickup was an LR Baggs Stage Pro Element. This is a hybrid classical. The neck is 48MM where typical classicals are closer to 52MM. It's for a person that is a steel string player looking to get into classical. The cost is $419.99 but I will tell that Musician's Friend has 2 open box one's for $301.99. BTW those come with the full Limited Lifetime Warranty. It sounds great acoustically and plugged in. I am very happy with it.

Please give us regular updates on your guitar as you play it and it opens up.
