Two Birds Budgie Build 2024
Hi All,
I was in the market for a parlor sized guitar and commisioned a build from Two Birds Guitarworks. They are out of Cicero, IN and I had been following thier work on instagram for a while. I've had a quite a few conversations with Christian and its exciting to see the build now starting to materialize. I wanted to share some of the pictures with you all. I hope you enjoy! Glad to see your Two Birds parlor build thread here. I've been following their work on Instagram. Looking forward to following a start to finish project here from their shop here.

 Went with Bolivian Ebony for the binding/fretboard/head plate. I’m excited to see the maple under finish!

Any one have any thoughts on small body maple b/s guitars? I’ve always loved the clear treble notes on the high frets!
I’ve seen it used on a lot of classical guitars and love the sound there too.

It’s fun to see all the incredible maple builds being highlighted on the forum currently!
I defiantly agree with you @canuk7. I really enjoy the small body maple sound for the Celtic lament/airs I play. I’m excited to see your GR Bear and Angel Step builds come together. Quick update on Budgie build. Everything’s moving along. The Bolivian Ebony appointments are complete. The feather Burl for the headstock came out awesome!
