Default NGD torture

Purchased a 37 D28A on Thursday. USPS tracking says it left the sorting hub, 60 miles away for delivery to my local post office. I'm in town mailing last minute Christmas cards, and see the delivery truck backed up to post office being unloaded. I politely ask the gentlemen if I may be able to pick my package. Sorry sir, we do not allow back door delivery, you can return on Monday to pick up. Torture.

That is recipe for a LONG weekend. I rememeber having my D18 sit over the weekend in the UPS hub that is driving distance from my house. It was painful!

But it's worth it! Congrats on your authentic!

We all love it the better once the tension subsides and we can start unwrapping. And then there's another obligatory wait to acclimatise before opening the case, what better description of a masochist eh? Good luck with the wait and I hope it's all you've ever wished for.

Look on the bright side: it'll have two whole, long days to slowly acclimate to your local climate.

You beat me to it, ouch!

Rich, stop thinking about the smell of the guitar as you open the case for the first time and the sweetness of that first strum. . Here's to a fantastic Monday.

She's in the house! First sunny day here in weeks, need to get the dogs out to the lake for a while. It's going to be a pleasant evening.
