Welcome and Congratulations on a fine Gibson!
It looks great! Love the back and the sunburst spot on the back of the neck. Can't say I've ever seen a Gibson with that.
Congrats!!

Great guitar! I love the vintage style Gibsons. Glad yours sounds right -- sometimes, the new ones can be pretty dead. But Gibson has put a lot of energy into its acoustics, and the ones like yours really do appear to have regained the looks and tones of the best of the vintage ones. And I really love that distinctive Gibson tone. You've got a real beauty there and I hope it continues to delight and surprise you. Nice going!

Score one for you. That 15 looks awesome. I would love to find one available, but my wife just might disagree. Congrats!

Gibson should make that a standard catalog item! They would sell a lot of those. What a great combination - the walnut tone wood, J45 build, and Gibson sunburst!

I too have a J-15 sunburst, but sadly mine doesn't have the spot of sunburst on the neck. Oh well, the sunburst is secondary to the sound and playability which is perfect in my mind. Enjoy it!

They'd never sell another (far more expensive) J-45 if they did - and if it were CFM IV & Co. they would have even discontinued the standard model long ago...

Wow ! That's a super nice J-15. I have a sunburst J-15, as well. But the back on mine is nothing like yours. Enjoy it. They are superb guitars.
