Thanks for the encouragement, Tony. The D-28 that I purchased is a "special" model without being a custom -- and I think that may be the most attractive option for me.

MRW can be nice -- but it will never have the mystique of BRW. No buyer's remorse yet...

Congrats and enjoy!
Thank you!

I would've loved to be reasonable and buy a standard D-28 -- but not with the bright white binding and shiny gold logo... Sigh... Martin surely knows how to make guitar nerds spend more money...

Thank you for checking out my YouTube channel. I hope to explore different sounds with my D-28. Possibly with less delay/reverb...

I'm glad I have your approval on this one, Howard -- thanks so much.

Mark has been great to deal with for sure.

Thanks!

My Olson SJs have a diamond shaped volute as well -- so there will be four of them moving forward...

Call me astounded. Never seen you play a dreadnought! Congrats Mau! Quite a nice addition to the already amazing collection.

My most recent addition was from neildealdylan. A 2002 Tippin DST12 (short scale 12-fret) made for Martin Simpson. Awesome guitar! Never thought I would buy another dreadnought but glad I did!

Have fun with yours!

Wow! Congratulations! That's a lifetime keeper for sure. And folkway is an awesome place to deal with. They are 15 minutes from me. I have never heard anyone with a negative experience there.

Thanks Dennis!

All of my guitar buddies own dreads and I guess I enjoyed thrashing their guitars so much that I had to get one for myself...

I find dreads attractive -- in an odd way. I wish I could've settled for a cheaper one...

Your DST12 is an even larger guitar -- and it has a sweet headstock!

Thank you!

I rarely think of buying Canadian since most of them have terrible websites with terrible photos.

Folkway is the exception though. At last here's a Canadian dealer who understands online sales!

Thanks, Jeremy. It's in the truck and it should be here any minute. The wait is terrible!
