I honestly do not know what is different in the bracing since I'm not the original owner. But the Bourgeois spec sheet says down in the Notes column, Custom bracing. So I know he did something different. Though this is my first Slope D - and the only one I've played - I can say that the lightweight build of this guitar, the cavernous tone and long sustain are quite something for an all-mahogany guitar of this size. I'll post a photo of the build sheet. I thought I had but for some reason missed it. See next post.

Some interesting offers but still looking. Going to throw an LR Baggs M80 in this over the weekend and use it at the open mic.

I really love the contrast of the Koa binding. Beautiful guitar.

Good luck!

Thanks! It really is a beautiful guitar. I've become quite enamoured of the tone to the point where I installed a temporary pickup so I can play it at open mics. Much to my surprise, I'm finding I can tolerate the Slope D dread body quite easily. I'm really hoping to eventually trade this off for another Slope D with a short scale.

Also think I'm going to do a NGD for it this coming week. All that said, still for sale or trade for the right guitar.

Slope D tone monster banjo killer! Play it in DADGAD and it's sublime. Standard tuning and take a pick to it and blow the doors off the place.

Thursday but feels like a Friday bump. Long holiday weekend!

Still entertaining trades. Hit me up with what you've got. Another Slope D in short scale would be cool. Also Martin and other clone 000 14 fretters or short scale OMs. You never know. This is a really cool guitar.
