Probably, with a dovetail neck joint, one bolt is enough.

What a wonderfully accurate description - I want to eat it - can I have Ice-cream with it?

Thanks Tom! I was a bit worried the back and sides would go so dark under the finish that you'd lose the grain definition, but I'm liking the look!

Hi Rob ... good eye! My neck joint is more of a "pinned dovetail" than a mortise and tenon bolt-on. The only thing the bolt or screw does on a pinned dovetail is keep the male and female dovetail components engaged ... there's no strain on the bolt, so only one is needed.

The contrast between the Macassar and Lutz is absolutely fantastic on this guitar. With the very tasteful edging and rosette, I must say there is one very lucky New Yorker out there.

I'm doing some promo shots of this one now ... should have another later tonight and then a couple every day for the next few days. Should have an audio file at the end too.
