Default Good price for Ultrasound DS3?

One of these just popped up near me on Craigslist. What is a good used price?

We don't discuss guitar prices except privately, but amp prices are fair game. I bought a DS4 in perfect shape from a fellow AGFer for $375, and arranged to pick it up. I've been very happy with it. Will probably need to get a Tukki cover for it soon, but it's a great little amp for the money. You could spend more and get less, I think.

Hi cotten...
We have a DS2 that we just threw a sweat shirt over and trimmed the arms and ''torso'' to fit. The handle sticks through the neck hole. I have the cover for my other one, but this one came sans cover.

Default I have A DS-3....

I have a DS-3, that I have been wanting to post in the classifieds. I have been hesitant b/c I have not shipped an amp before. If anyone could lend some advice on shipping an amp w/o the original box I would appreciate it and then probably post.

For a DS3 on Craigslist, I'd bet $300-$350 would be a fair price, the DS4 is going for $499 new these days. I paid $379 for my DS2 4 years ago. I agree with Cotton, these are probably the best amps for the money. You'll be hard pressed to do better unless you pay the top dollar for a Rivera or AER.

I love my DS3 (thanks to Bill & Ellie at Artisian), and I have recommended these amps to those who inquire
Some of the on-line retailers are including the Tukki cover with new amps
Look for one with the tilt-back option

I'd imagine Nelson's price guess to be well within reason
