Default Martin DX1AE

I finally had a chance to buy a Martin and all though I couldn't afford the D-28 or one of the older ones. I jumped at the DX1AE made in mexico but it really does a wonderful Martin Tone and sound. I am very happy with it. Love waking up and seeing that CF/Martin/Co headstock just makes me happy. as a bluegrass and country lover it really does the trick would recommend it for any Martin beginners who cant go hi end.

The DX1AE acoustic-electric guitar features a D-14 platform and a Dreadnought body design that produces the rich, dynamic sound and look that Martin is known for. Pairing the solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany-grained high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides, the DX1AE Mahogany features Fishman electronics and a non-cutaway style body

Congratulations on that new Martin! Having a guitar you are both happy with and proud of is a nice feeling. I'm glad you've got an instrument that will let you pick your favorite bluegrass and country tunes.

Best!

I had a dx1 a few years ago. I sold it because a dread was beginning to be a stretch too far for my shoulder. Often wish I'd kept it. They are very nice guitars. Enjoy yours.

I have had a few of them over the years. Great way to get a Martin feel and sound without spending thousands of dollars.

Enjoy!
