This has nothing to do with your problem but its a side fact; urea is the best moisturizer there is for the skin. Heel crack creams contain 25% urea, it attracts water into the skin. Most moisturizers are some kind of petrolatum base.

So you do have a can of perfectly good skin cream there is well.

On the serious side, it sounds like things will wash over....I get the idea from these posts all is not lost!

Fat, don't worry...the good fortune from your vintage Gibby find will spill over into your good fortune for the outcome of this concern.

Everyone make mistakes. That's why they put rubber erasers on pencils...

I suspect the outcome of your faux pax, will probably hinge of how long you've been with the company without any other faux pax? Best of luck. I hated being in any trouble at work, back in those old bummer days when I was working....

Very true Don but you have to add a pencil is 10" long but the the eraser is only 1/4". Some wear out the rubber pretty quick.

Maybe that's why the Gibson was at the pawn shop Fat. Have you read The Monkey by Stephen King?

I am always cautious about putting diesel in my Petrol driven car, or vice versa.

Especially as in the USDA the pump handle colour codes are the wrong way around - i.e. black for petrol and green for diesel.

There ARE at some fuel stations a different sized pump for LPG.

However I have never heard of this DEF (can't even find a Googled reference to it - Why is it available at a pump and what is it for?

The silver lining of the worst case scenario is you'll have a lot more time to play that Gibson of yours.

What is DEF used for? Why is it at a gas station where it can be easily confused with deisel?

Wooh, glad someone else has done this. I did it at work, and when the prices were high. So on top of all the money I had poured on the ground. All our employees had a good laugh at my expense

I had to look up DEF...

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Diesel exhaust fluid for sale in small quantities
Diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), commonly referred to as AdBlue in Europe and standardised as ISO 22241[1] is an aqueous urea solution made with 32.5% high-purity urea (AUS 32) and 67.5% deionized water. DEF is used as a consumable in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in order to lower NOx concentration in the diesel exhaust emissions from diesel engines.[2]

DEF is used in Daimler AG's BlueTec system that has been built into several diesel trucks and cars. The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) controls the "AdBlue" trademark and uses it to ensure quality standards are maintained in accordance with DIN 70070 and ISO 22241 specifications.

And I too have pumped diesel into a gasoline car and put anti freeze into a power steering reservior. It happens!

The deisel exhaust is passed though a some device that has this in it, to help remove oxides of nitrogen.
All new deisel engines in the USA have to have this. And the DEF has to be refilled every XXX miles.
