Hey Portland Area Folks!
Just wanted to say that I will be going to hear a dear friend (and brilliant songwriter/performer) tonight at the Blue Room Bar in Cartlandia!!! It would be cool to meet any folks from this site who make it over there...
My friend is Mick Overman, and he really is a wonderful player and songwriter; 6 and 12 string acoustic guitars and resonator... plays a good deal of slide guitar, too! He's been the "resident" singer/songwriter for Thursday nights throughout this month, so tonight is his last Thursday there as a part of that program. He plays from 8-10 p.m. I'll be there at the beginning, barring too much traffic-nonsense from Corvallis.
