Been through there a couple of times. You're lucky to have been living in such a place. So much history and so much beauty nearby.

Haven't been there for a few years now but I used to spend several days a year in Geneva on business trips - it's a very cool place - one of my favorites in Europe, for sure.

Actually Switzerland has had a whole bunch of civil wars, the last one as late as the 1840s, and for five centuries its number one export was mercenary soldiers.
