Default Taylor GS Mini with Cindy Inlay Stickers

I've recently been turned on to fret stickers. Having never seen or heard of them I didn't really know what to expect but after finding a Cindy Inlay pattern I just couldn't resist giving them a try.

Ordered from a company online for $12. Super cheap so if I hated them I could simply remove them. They arrived yesterday and took only a week to arrive.

I was very impressed with the quality. They actually "look" like real abalone.

Application was easy enough, took maybe 5 minutes to cut and apply and I must say I was very pleased with the outcome.

They are thin enough that you don't feel them when you play and seem durable enough to last at least a little while. I've read several reviews from people who said they've lasted years. That remains to be seen but for $12 who really cares.

Of all the searching I never found photos of guitars with the Cindy inlay stickers installed so I thought I'd share a photo of mine. Taylor might want to consider trying custom inlay jobs on the GS Minis because I think it looks pretty sharp.

Sorry for the poor quality of photo. Taken from my phone, I couldn't get the lighting right to really show off the stickers.

Cheers!

Looks sharp! You should consider sending a few photos to their website for them to show others.

I have 4 guitars with stickers. They all look sharp and present no problem as long as you're not grinding the strings into the fretboard.

look for a seller named jockomo81 over on ebay. He's based in Japan, but he has a huge selection and he delivers without any problems.

I use them because they look cool and also help out on guitars that have no surface fret markers.

You did a really nice job...it looks great. I did an inlay sticker on my GS Mini headstock.....it dressed it up a bit.

I actually had a friend who made decals for firetrucks etc. Back in the late seventies . My Greven has the naked lady headstock and thought it might offend someone in a church i played at so he gave me some scrap and i made a bikini for the Girl . Sorry I dont have any photos handy -but i think she looks better Naked !

I like your Cindy Inlays -they look beautifull !

I don't mean to be fussy, but I do believe that Taylor's "Cindy" fretboard design is owned by Taylor Guitars, and that they would not at all be pleased by someone else selling stickers of their design. I haven't called them about it, but I wouldn't be surprised.

That said, I do like this design. I have it on my 2000 914c, and consider it to be just the right touch of elegant bling before edging over into the realm of the gaudy. I do like the way it dresses up this GS Mini!

I like it, it does fit the guitar. I don't know if I'd want to put stickers on my guitar but for $12, perhaps I'd give it a try on my beater.

Did the stickers cover the dot marks on the fret board. I don't see any on your Mini.

Yes they do. The website shows how they are designed to cover the existing fret markers.

Again.....the website is inlaystickers.com.
