That's part of the E Pack.

Ok, I've got a pretty decent recording of Deep River Blues. I've actually played this better, but when the mic comes on I still get a bit self-conscious. So this is all part of the learning process of playing and gaining confidence:

Removed clip - a better version is pending....

Now on to Long Tall Mama and Hideaway!

I started Your Cheating Heart, so far I have worked through the G and E sections. Going to start on the C section now. The E section was more difficult for me that the G section.

Glad to hear you're making progress on that tune. It'll show you what a song looks like on the fingerboard when it's transposed from one key to another. This will also increase your knowledge of chord inversions.

Are there mp3 samples of the tunes in the 'packs'? Its kinda like flying blind buying a lesson pack without hearing a sample of each tune.

Actually that's why there's videos Barry. You get the sight and the sound. Each lesson comes with a video showing me playing the complete example of that lesson.

Toby, I meant as a sample, maybe 10 seconds, to help make the purchase decision.

I am digging deep into "Deep River Blues" and some of the "25 songs" pack. It's all TBMan's fault, as I was very inspired by his hard work on these lessons. He's kicking my butt so I gotta get on it!

Uh-oh, the gloves are off, lol.

Is the pack of 25 intermediate? I was thinking of getting it, but I'm already working on two new tunes, practicing two others to get them fully memorized and Hideaway keeps calling me, so I guess I have to work on all of them at once,

Default Toby Walker's Lessons: Let's Discuss!

You'd have to ask Toby about the level on the 25 song set but it feels like intermediate and if you are already getting through his other material I'd say you'd be fine.

Yes TB... I would say intermediate.

I'm in! I joined up and got the 25 pack. It was late last night, but I started fumbling through the "8 Bar Blues in E".

I'm new to this site and to fingerstyle guitar. I started about a month ago with the David Hamburger course from Truefire. I'm now starting to get a few licks in and developing some consistency with alternating bass and melody lines.

I like the 8 bar tune, so I'll keep working with that for starters.
