Default New cover video - "Amarillo By Morning"

I grew up listening to George Strait and this is one of my favorites of his. I hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful playing and singing. I loved it!

Technical question, is that mic a V76G? Is that the only audio input or is your guitar plugged in too?

Way to go Andrew on a fav classic! I love the raw in your living room sound, that's what it's all about...just you, your guitar and us that get to come in and sit for a listen.

Thank you! And yes, that is a V67G mic. I used it for vocals. I had only one mic on the guitar, a Peluso CEMC6. I usually have 2 of those on guitar, but one of my mic cables was being problematic, so I just used one.

Thank you! I'm not so insecure about the living room approach, now that my living room has a nicer looking sofa in it.

Dang that was great Andrew. Amarillo By Morning is in my top 5 country songs ever. I don't have the chops to play it but that song has inspired me to write a rodeo song. King George's version is SOOOOO ingrained in my mind that I'm thinking "well that needs some reverb on the vocals and......" and then I shook my head and thought, 'if a cowboy was going to play that around a fire, or sleeping in his truck between rodeos, it would sound EXACTLY like that." REALLY REALLY great!

Thanks very much for the kind words. I am glad you appreciated my simpler take on it!
