Default Rocky Raccoon Cover

Recent member, beginner player. Been playing on and off for about 10 years. I can strum chords to few songs I like to sing. Here is one. It's also my 1st Youtube post so please help me get some hits! And of course, feedback and constructive critisms please. Thank you.

Your vocal style and pitch control caught my ear immediately. Skilled. I love the original track and occasional versions I hear of it. This will be a favorite.

I do enjoy singing which is why I want to get better at guitar. And a kind compliment like this is very encouraging. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to view! He's my "little rocky". Somehow he managed to sneak in on the one take that I liked =). But I'm glad he did. Now I have it for posterity.

Sir! I was actually watching your Vincent cover several days ago. I really admired it. So it's an honor to get this compliment from you. It had come up when I was viewing some Don Maclean interviews. I hope to be able to play and sing as crisp as you some day.

Funny, I have been listening to this very song for the last month or so on my way to and from work and learning to sing along with it before tackling the guitar part, and here comes your cover. Very well done, and no doubt more difficult to pull off than it may seem at first blush, what with the more or less rambling narrative type lyrics that need to somehow be meshed with a more regular strumming pattern. Way to go, I enjoyed it.

TKT/zipper/spock.
I posted this several weeks ago so I was pleasantly surprised to get activity on this. Thank you for checking it out and letting me know you enjoyed it. I posted few more since so you can take a look at those as well, although looking back, I think this one turned out the best.

spock, regarding the narration, yes, I found that difficult at first, but it still goes 4/4 rhythm so I think you will get it with some practice =)
