Default Can someone name this old tune?

Hi everyone. New member here. My uncle taught me this song in 1969. He was a WW2 vet. I've played this time for 50 something years but he never said the name of it. This is my first recording on a phone and I messed up a couple times. Does anyone recognize it? I truly appreciate your help!https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/GfyJo

I realize that it could be something he just made up. But it does sound a little Lindsey Buckingham ish.

I seriously don't know what that means. I clicked the link and it played but I think I'm signed in to the site. I'll investigate.

Part of the chord changes match "Never Going Back" by Buckingham, but those changes are common as rain, and it's not the same lead line.

Yes I think my uncle was playing this before I was born. Long before Fleetwood Mac. I was just wondering if it was an old tune that maybe was popular way back. I'm 62.
