Default Incredible SCGC Custom Brazilian/Italian Spruce OM!!SOLD

SOLD

My sale fell through so I have up again for sale my 2014 SCGC Brazilian/Italian Spruce OM. This is not your ordinary OM though. The Brazilian is black flamed Brazilian Tier 1 harvested in the 1930's. This is from Richard Hoovers vault. The Italian Spruce is bear clawed and of the best of the best. This guitar is MINT without any scratches or dings. Tonally this is the finest OM I have owned but unfortunately I need to sell for financial reasons or this would not be going anywhere! I would be happy to answer any questions. Also, Please feel free to contact Tom Dircks at Redwood Acoustics where I bought this guitar. This guitar is very responsive, resonant, loud and has a depth and chime to it that only this Old Growth Brazilian can bring to the table. I believe their is truly something magical going on in this guitar that I have not heard in other Rosewoods. This is a once in a lifetime guitar and this is as good as it gets if you want the best SCGC OM! If you would like to see more pictures here is a link http://s6.photobucket.com/user/mjlan...?sort=3&page=1

I paid 19000.00 new for this and am the original owner. I am asking 12200.00 paypaled and shipped. No trades please.

Here are the specs:

MasterGrade Tier 1 Black flamed Brazilian Rosewood (Real old growth from the 1930's)
MasterGrade bearclawed Italian Spruce
Flamed Koa binding around whole body of guitar, neck, and headstock
Koa Rosette
Hot Hide Glue
Adirondack Bracing
Nut width 1 3/4
String spacing 2 1/4
Gotoh 510 tuners with Ebony buttons
Bone nut and saddle and bone dyed pins
Scale 25.4
Ameritage Case
Pickguard is in case as I never put it on as I primarily fingerpick
I also have a letter from Richard Hoover stating that the Braz was harvested in the 1930's

I happen to have the "sister" to this guitar which was shipped to Redwood Acoustics in April 2014 ( http://www.santacruzguitar.com/just-...-claw-italian/ ).

It has pretty much the same spec. I bought it used from someone who traded three Bourgeois guitars (two of which were Brazilian) plus cash for the guitar.

It has an amazing tone. It easily rivals my Olson which up to this point was my favorite guitar. Nothing fancy in the build just a lot of craftsmanship to produce the best sounding guitar imaginable. I never put much stock in the Brazilian thing but after buying this guitar I am a believer. It is extremely responsive to the touch, loud but not too loud to be abrasive, each string resonates equally, a sort of glassy focused tone which I think comes from the Brazilian.

If you are looking for "that" perfect guitar than this could very well be it.

I just purchased a Doerr Trinity Select from this seller. The guitar was exactly as advertised, new condition and fantastic tone just as Mike said! Buy with confidence; Mike's a great guy to work with and he's selling quite a few primo guitars lately! Wish I could buy more!

First of all..

Bump...

Second, keep this guitar in your family. This guitar is incredible..

This is the kind of guitar in 112 years, where Antique Road show

will do a segment on it... And they will talk about how it originally

Went for $20,000, and then they will say "At Auction, I would put

the value of this guitar at $128,000..

You are right. This is an incredible instrument and a heirloom BUT Personal Finances are winning out at this point. I hope it finds a loving home because whoever gets this will have a whole new appreciation of tone and simplistic beauty and the opportunity to own REAL OLD Brazilian!

Default Steel string regarding your SC OM

I have been criticized for not including photos so I don't want to sound hypocritical; however, I cannot help but comment on the poor quality of your photos considering what you are asking for this guitar. I am not disputing the price--you are taking a painful hit (I share that pain)--but I encourage you to take new photos. The obvious beauty of that dark Brazilian deserves better!
Good luck.
