SOLD 000-18GE Golden Era Ambertone 1933 Custom - 2012
Hello - new to this forum, but have lurked for a while. I've bought and sold a lot over the years on the UMGF, Mandolin Cafe Classifieds, and the old Collings Forum.
This is the Custom Shop model that used to be custom spec ordered and sold by My Favorite Guitars. Great little guitar. I am selling because I recently acquired two other small bodied guitars and know this 000 will not be played enough to justify keeping it. Its too good to gather dust in a closet. These models do not have the "Golden Era" sticker inside, but have "Custom Shop" burned on the inside neck block with the serial #. Only mod is a K&K pmw pickup. It is in great condition, a few tiny superficial surface scratches that show on all sunbursts with play. Kept case humidified. Played occasionally at church. Adirondack top has some cool wavy grain to it. It has always generated lots of nice compliments from those who have heard and played it. SOLD. I am no longer looking to trade. OHSC included, with case candy and original hang tag.
