Tuner upgrades
What measurements do I need to take so that I can order the correct size replacement tuners.

Electric guitars are mostly standard in this aspect. Usually 6 per side or 6 in line. This is all you really need to know. The differentiating factor is 0 to 4 screws per tuner and shaft size of the tuner. I've drilled a few holes bigger because the shaft was larger.

Check with the manufacturer of the the tuners you are planning to use and see if they have the dimensions on their web site. Waverly's have very detailed drawings of their tuners with all necessary specifications such distances between screw holes and diameter of the tuning post and bushings. Compare these to your guitar and see how well they match. You might also check to see if any one else has already made the specific substitution you are planning, and whether they had any unexpected problems..

Oops, didn't notice you posted in Electric Guitars. Ignore my advice since it isn't applicable.
