Default I waxed my Red Breasted Merganser

I was told that I should .
I even waxed the fish in his bill .
A local carver let me choose a decoy and I picked a Red Breasted Merganser with a green fish in his bill .
Does this make the fish a billfish ?
I have always loved the human touch on things and this is a beauty
Guess I'll take some pics and post them later .

If you consider tea with honey an adult beverage the answer is yes .
I don't drink , but if I come across you in the future , I will treat you to a cold beer or a shot .
I have been known to travel to Tennessee . In fact , Tennessee is amongst my favorite places in the world . A large part of that is the people that I found there .
Do you know where I can get some sourwood honey ?

Definitely post a pic when you can. It is getting close to "hoodie and woody" time here at the ranch. I have 5 nesting boxes divided between two ponds and it is not unusual to have all boxes full and at least one with a hooded merganser.

Just remember to bring her breakfast in bed before you leave - and send her a dozen roses when you get to work...
